HELP WANTED
We are looking for people to develop Zo-ma-rah. Anyone who is interested and has News or blogging experience should contact the webmaster at webmaster@deseretgov.com. You duties will be to write weekly reports about news happening world wide. The majority of your writing will be about positive events. You will also be required to present facts and not to present personal opinions.
Currently there is a huge need for a reliable news source that doesn't distort facts or push agendas. This is the precise reason the Nation of Deseret created Zo-ma-rah also known as Pure News. Our primary goal is to present facts without stretching the truth or having to appeal to sponsors, advertizers, networks, big businesses, or governments. Another goals is to present positive news not doom and gloom, crime sprees, adultury, and other negative events that steal modern headlines. We want to become a news source that people can view and have a feeling of being uplifted rather than depressed. We hope you will bear with us as we develop Zo-ma-rah from it's simple beginnings into a larger news source.

About Zo-ma-rah
Zo-ma-rah was inspired by an article originally published in the Nauvoo Neighbor and the reprinted in the Millennial Star(1845) and Dialogue(1969).1 This article entitled "One Hundred years Hence. 1945," contains the descriptionof a dream about the Millenium after Christ returns. In this dream the world had ended about 1895-1905. Christ is the grand King and other prophets are rulers. In this dream it mentions the Zo-ma-rah or Pure News which is a news organization during the millenium.
It is from this article that the name and idea of Zo-ma-rah came from. It is quite obvious that the world didnt actually end by 1895 however the concept of this news organization was interesting. It is our goal to operate a news system using this name and purpose to be a realiable news source in Deseret.
